Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo has had a yellow card for diving rescinded by the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF).
Ronaldo was cautioned in the 2-0 win over Rayo Vallecano on Wednesday after the referee ruled he had dived to try to win a penalty, although replays clearly showed he had been felled by a Rayo defender.
The RFEF's decision means Ronaldo avoids a one-match suspension for his fifth yellow and can play in Saturday's game at home to Eibar.
A statement from Real Madrid read: "The RFEF Competition Committee has upheld the appeal submitted by Real Madrid against the yellow card shown to Cristiano Ronaldo in the match against Rayo Vallecano."
With a win over La Liga debutants Eibar, second-placed Real can close to within a point of leaders Barcelona, who play at fifth-placed Sevilla later on Saturday.
